Give short repeated cuts until blade is free. No side to side movements • Never walk with a live & open cutting head- always in holster. • Never climbed up and down a ladder with a live secateur. It must be in the holster. • It is not a toy, do not play with it. • Listen for strange noises. • Sharpen correctly and regularly. • Make sure the blade and anvil are always clean, sharp, and correctly set. • Do not unscrew power cable from HP unnecessary. • Do not lend the tools to an untrained operator or swop the tools between operators. • Gloves and safety glasses are recommended to be used while pruning. • Use ventilated and cooler areas for recharging and storage of battery and product. Never in unventilated areas, no flammable products around, always keep an eye on it and do not leave on charge for extended periods. A weekend is OK but not for longer. • Storage tips for shears and batteries o Perform annual service at approved dealer/reseller o Charge battery fully before storage and unplug battery. o Make sure blade and anvil are clean, sharpened and lightly oiled to prevent rust o Store in cool dry ventilated place o Store away from flammable and fertilizer products
