DIACHEM S.p.A. is controlled by the GMP Group
(holding company of the Dubbini family), which
since 2017 owns 100% of PIRECO, a Dutch company
specialised in research and production of natural
products based on plant extracts. Chimiberg
and Diagro, formerly companies in their own right,
are now italian brands of Diachem operating in
the sector of crop protection products (Chimiberg)
and crop nutrition products (Diagro).
Pursuing its mission of diversification, the Dubbini
Group acquired Sostel in 1982, a company that
has marketed systems and devices for use in the
health, safety and communication fields for over 40
years. GMP also owns a minority stake in Renolab,
a GLP laboratory close to Bologna in Italy, and has
recently acquired a stake in Nanomnia, a new and
innovative Italian SME.
In 1937 Luigi Dubbini (a civil engineer) and his
brother Amleto (a textile chemical engineer)
founded a company for the production and sale in
Italy of chemical auxiliaries for the textile industry.
